On an ordinary day, I captured a leaf—melancholic yet longing to fly. That evening, as I imported the photo into my phone and tapped around absentmindedly, I accidentally discovered that Apple’s built-in search function could trace the branches in a full circle, outlining them with a bright, shimmering light, as if marking their existence by chance. I took a screenshot of this light’s imprint, recording, in a way, this tree’s ordinary day.
